Event Timeline

I saw Chris message on IRC that the idrac firmware updated we performed earlier in the evening didn't go thru and he did another one. I can confirm that it is still not working after that last upgrade.

I have updated Dell Tech support and continue with another possible solution.

Thanks for this. Please give us a heads up if you need to turn down the server- it is back to being in service as the main backup server, to test it behaves well, last thing we want is to put it down in the middle of it.

@Cmjohnson did you arrange any concrete date with Dell in the end?
The server is now in service and ideally, if it needed to be brought down...Monday or Tuesdays would fit us better (the backups are scheduled for Wed, and they normally can get delayed till Thursday or so).

@Marostegui: nothing concrete has been determined since we upgraded the idrac f/w. My POC was holiday right after we started our conversation and then me. I reached out to them today. Waiting on a response.

Sure - no worries. I was just making sure I didn't miss anything :-), too many ticket notifications so I could have easily missed one!
Thank you!

Same issue as T160392. From the iDRAC web interface, I set the password to something random then back to our password and this seems to have done the trick.
