Images on the Browse Partners page (https://wikipedialibrary.wmflabs.org/partners/) generally look great, but it seems that they scale to their width. This means if there's a long image it goes very large (see Emerald, for example).
A solution might be to place a maximum length for the image.

That's a long enough list that I'm just working out a passable css-based fix instead of clobbering those images.
