[[Special:MergeAccount]] does not recognize passwords of own accounts

Dear all,

The problem seems to be:

if an user tries to get to merge his accounts he gets a "wrong password" failure and can't merge

(the first password querry does not work)
but

This seem to happen after bug 14330 got fixed,
all passwords set before that bugfix are not recognized by Special:MergeAccount anymore.

Also the homewiki is totally mixed up.

• bzimport raised the priority of this task from to Medium.Nov 21 2014, 10:12 PM

• bzimport set Reference to bz14481.

It seems not to work only on accounts created before new password format was introduced.

Should be fixed after r36150, and I truncated globalnames and localnames. Please confirm.
