I guess the upside-down rotation doesn't work well with mobile devices. One example is found in the task description and I guess samsung devices would be possible candidates of affected devices as they are known for their hardware versions of the home button etc. (e.g.) Samsung galaxy s7
One more thing that I wanted to note is that, on a Redmi device running Lineage OS 14.1 the app rotates 180 degrees even though the option of 180 degree rotation has been turned off in the settings.
