Description:
Currently, Special:UnwatchedPages lists unwatched pages in the mainspace, but many wikis have content in multiple namespaces. Instead, it should list unwatched pages in content namespaces, using $wgContentNamespaces

Changing summary then - I see no reason to include non-content namespaces.

Uses pages only from namespaces specified in $wgContentNamespaces

I believe the reason for this special page is to help watch for vandalism on pages that no user is watching. Vandalism isn't just something that happens in content namespaces...

See comment 5 for the reasons that were given five years ago.
