We can whitelist a range of IPs that's assigned to particular library, if you give your public IP. Also tell us the timeframe of your editathon and projects you'll be working at.
Best,

Change 412672 had a related patch set uploaded (by Urbanecm; owner: Urbanecm):
[operations/mediawiki-config@master] New throttle rule, clean expired rules
Another question: How many editors do you expect? I've prepared a patch for 70 editors, but if you expect more (or less) editors, feel free to tell me, I'll adapt the rule.
Registration from en wiki only, I should think.
I think that's highly ambitious :). The room only fits at best 20. Tt's fine as is, but you could lower it to 50 and that's still probably 99% outside the expected range.
That's great. Registration will be allowed from enwiki, wikidatawiki and commonswiki (the last two are included automatically by the lifting logic). Regarding 70 editors, I just wanted to be sure it'll be okay for you, I'll lower it to 50 then.

Bah, I've checked today and the IP is now 86.189.23.132
Seems like it might not be that stable.
Well, 86.189.23.132 and 31.55.0.252 have nothing in common. Ask your network administrator for range(s) of IP addresses.
