Description

Hi:

After some projects developed with Outreach Dashboard, I have a question/request: Is possible delete an article from the course activity and counters?.

Scenario: I'm an active sysop in es.wiki, I reverted and blocked an article during a editathon, so the article is added to course/program activity, but isn't related with it. (see Mohamed Salah in articles.

Thanks in advance

@Superzerocool: this is not possible yet, but it's probably the most-requested feature at this point. I want to implement it, but it's going to be fairly complicated and I'm not yet sure when I'll be able to work on it, or how best to implement it.

@Ragesoss thanks for your answer. I can't find any task to subscribe it: if exists, feel free to merge it. (anyway, I subscribed project: I feel it interesting and I want to contribute with feedback)

Anyway, just to understand the complexity: why is so complicated? (sorry if I ask it, but I don't know how the Dashboard works, but I don't want do any oversimplification of the problem)

@Superzerocool: we mostly use github for tracking issue for the Dashboard; here's the most relevant one: https://github.com/WikiEducationFoundation/WikiEduDashboard/issues/1738

It's complicated because the main way that the dashboard works for all it's calculations and visuations is to start from the set of revisions for a course or editathon, and figure out the set of edited articles from there. Any changes to how that set of revisions gets determined reaches to the core of the system and can have a lot of consequences.

You can now remove edits from tracking.
