Description

Per this thread on en.wikt: https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=Wiktionary:Grease_pit/2018/October&oldid=50484448#Wiktionary:Per-browser_preferences_and_audio and this thread on c: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Help_desk&oldid=323930801#Uploading_via_script_from_en.wikt

Can anyone fix this so that we can upload audio onto Commons seamlessly? This would make a very big difference for Wiktionary.

This is not related to Phabricator. @Aklapper Should you close this?

This does not seem to be relevant anymore as all audio files on enwikt appear to have been moved to Commons in the meantime: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Special:ListFiles?limit=250&user=.

What? This is still relevant: the script uploaded _to Commons_. Am I completely misreading what you wrote???

Apologies, I must have misunderstood the issue then.

Thanks, Redmin.

Snaevar, maybe the functionality wasn't obvious, but you could click on a button at any Wiktionary entry, record in your browser, and then immediately upload to Commons and add it to the entry. It was seamless and worked incredibly well. :/
