Reporting against the build hosted on Staging environment. (http://prototype.wikimedia.org)

Steps to reproduce :

  1. Access a page using IE 6
  2. Click Edit link and check the Tool bar

Other Observations::
'Search and Replace' icon is available in other browsers (Firefox 3.5, Safari 4 and Chrome 2)

Yup. The enhanced toolbar is not displayed at all in IE6. This is intentional, because IE6 is too broken to render it properly. IE7 does a better job, but still breaks in RTL (right-to-left) environments, so the enhanced toolbar is disabled for IE7+RTL as well.
