The link list on Special:ApiSandbox looks silly:
At least in most wikis, in en.wikipedia the lists is horizontal. So it might be just some styles missing, which are loaded for whatever reasons on en, but not elsewhere.

Seems like the display was never very good, but was made worse by rMW30565e249175: API: Create a module bundle for 'apipretty' and 'apihelp'. Enwiki works because it includes hlist in its MediaWiki:Common.css.
