Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The base metrics for the international WikiGap 2019 campaign were calculated and added to wmse:Projekt:En_gemenskap_för_alla_2019/Global_Metrics.

But this still needs a breakdown into newly registered users etc.

Result:

Results exported to This spreadsheet since event metrics does not aggregate numbers.

There is of course no way of getting gender distribution from either of those platforms.

Event Timeline

To late to get newly registered users out of the projects and events dashboard (WikiGap campaign).

Will try to see if I can import each event into the Event metrics dashboard (WikiGap campaign).

Will try to see if I can import each event into the Event metrics dashboard (WikiGap campaign).

Going via the "Download campaign data as CSV"

  • Can use "Course overview data" to get the time-spans and names of each sub-event.
  • This can be combined with "Editors by course" to get editors per event.
  • Each event is the added to the Events Metrics with wikis set to *.wikipedia, commons.wikimedia and www.wikidata
  • The participants are added in the filter step
    • Possibly remove users who never registered
    • Possibly strip out "User:" (localised) prefix in username

You can't get it from the editors tab. But you can get it from the Course overview data export. Interestingly the numbers differ widely from that reported by Events metrics

Data created. Since WikiGap Vienna 2019 terminates on 2019-08-29 I'll hold off with the final data until Friday
