Description

In T247172, it is requested that a link such as wikt:sco:PageName be redirected to w:sco:Define:PageName in the newly created "Define" namespace in scowiki. the first link corresponds to https://sco.wiktionary.org/wiki/PageName, which currently redirected to https://incubator.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wt/sco/Main_Page&redirectfrom=infopage, but should be redirected to https://sco.wikipedia.org/wiki/Define:PageName.

Existing pages in Incubator will be migrated per T247177: Import scowiktionary incubator to scowiki Define namespace.

@Bugreporter: Redirect what to what? Please be clearer and do follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug . Clicking your first link goes to incubator, for example. That's not mentioned at all in this ticket. And how is the "Define" namespace in your example link related at all to this?

The task title is pretty clear now. It's about redirecting everything non-namespaced to a namespace.

@Bugreporter Can you confirm to me that consensus of the related task (https://sco.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_collogue:Define_namespace#RFC:_Adopt_Define_namespace) is also valid for this one?
Plus I don't think (perhaps I'm wrong) that there is a config variable for this in mediawiki. So it would require software developing. (or varnish tricks if it's only to redirect views of unresistant pages).

The discussion is the same

It would be done in the Apache config rather than MediaWiki config I think.

Note sco.wiktionary.org/wiki/ and sco.wiktionary.org should be redirected a valid title (sco.wikipedia.org/wiki/Define: is not a valid title).

The original main page is at Define:Main Page so I suggest redirecting it to that
