What exactly should the "Page mover" group be able to do? Sorry if this is a stupid question but different projects have slightly different mover groups and we need to be sure what exactly this group should be able to do.

Priority reflects reality rather than wishes.

Exactly what enwiki Page mover users can do.

-We are planning to give page moving ability to a fixed group of people, not to all autoconfirmed users. This is to minimize vandalism and title disputes.

I'm sorry, but those two comments are mutually exclusive. Stalling until claified.

Sorry for the confusion, As I mentioned we are planning to create a group that will be authorized to move a Ne-wiki page (other than admins). But for now please limit the Page Mover ability to the admins. Let me know if it not clear yet.

Sorry for the confusion created from the comments above. Through local consensus, we have decided to restrict page move right for some user groups (which include autoconfirmed and confirmed users which have 'move' right, rollbacker and bot users which have 'suppressredirect' right). To handle the page move request we need 'Page mover' user right locally. The feature for the page mover user group should be similar to that of the English Wikipedia. I hope this will clear the confusion. Thank you

Good find @Saroj_Uprety - I have look at Nepali Wikipedia ListGroupRights, where rollbackers and bot users have ability to 'suppressredirect'. So hereby I would like to request to @Jayprakash12345 ji to add these user groups in restriction section of this task. Thank you

@KrishDulal Da, please check the discussion at chautari. We agreed there to create a separate user group- 'Page mover' just like en.wiki had and restrict the page move functionality for the all group of users (auto confirmed, confirmed, rollbackers and bot) who have currently access to move a page. After this deployment, 'Page mover' and 'admins' only have ability to move a page on Nepali Wikipedia. Thanks

That's great. Thanks, Biplab for your clarification. Thanks to all.

Apologies for doing this. As per telegram group discussion, community want to discuss more on this proposal before moving ahead. Thanks

Well, Nepali Wikipedia community decided to follow the local page moving policies and not want to add more user group right now. So, I hereby request to decline this task. Thanks
