Did you mean stable? I am waiting for T259100; I guess this is related mw 1.36.0wmf2 and the deployment was expected last week.

Yes. Currently Pywikibot breaks when getting https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4847311, because it contains an arywiki sitelink which is not defined in Wikipedia family file. See T238405: Pywikibot should have a robust way to handle unknown sites. This makes newitem.py unusable.
