Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi, we're facing an ongoing attack by an LTA and the ability to set the abusefilter to block would be very helpful in combating it. Thanks in advance.

(Setting priority as high as indeed the lack of it is causing significant issues). Also see https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/User_talk:QuiteUnusual#Blocking_using_abusefilter

Hi, I didn't get one yet (other than the bureaucrat discussion) due to the relative urgency. If this is required please keep this request in hold (as I've only filed a community consensus request now). Thanks in advance.

Edit: We have gotten initial consensus for the change: https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=Wikibooks:Reading_room/Proposals&oldid=3805052, but it's only initial.
