Description

This is a direct follow-up to T220208: Hide graphics which do not fit and add notice. We discussed if it might be better to replace the word "graphic" with "figure", as it is not only about images, but tables and other stuff as well. In books, papers and such I have seen the word "figure" being used for both images and tables.
