The goal is to improve the release process so that partners know when they can upgrade and can decide if they want to do it.

Some ideas:

• Implement semver correctly
• Publish a changelog (can it be automatically generated and manually curated to be more intelligible?)
• What would be a good way to notify users of new versions?
• When do we release a new version (periodically, on milestones)?
