I tried to add Hive table to Superset dataset use "+ DATASET" feature at upper right corner.
This worked for a few datasets I added, but not the one in @cchen's screenshot. There were no meaningful differences in how the tables are set up, so maybe it's some kind of permission error. This should be in operational excellence and we should probably follow up on tasks like this on a daily basis. Things kind of get lost in this column.
@cchen - Could you test this again now please? I believe that it has been fixed by our recent upgrade to Superset 3.1.0.

Well, I think that I can tentatively resolve this ticket anyway, given that the test case that Cannie provided works for me, whereas it previously failed for @Milimetric. We can always reopen it if it continues to be a problem.
