https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth?target=Easy+peasy%2C+pumpkin+peasy%2C+pumpkin+pie%2C+fatherf00ker has been suppressed globally and then unsuppressed. But that account is still suppressed locally on metawiki and loginwiki.
It seems like something went wrong here.
IIRC mostly because the lock+suppression does not propagate the hidden status by default, and S uses local gadget to propagate the suppression status. Gadget doesn't really care what happens after the lock, and it can't know if they are unlocked/un-hidden later.
In the meanwhile, rEWMA unsuppressCrossWiki.php can be used to remove those local blocks (when it is not feasible to do so manually).
The account linked from this task was globally unsuppressed in May 2020, which was before T263170 was resolved / https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/628179 was merged - which apparently resolved the issue with local blocks not being removed alongside global unsuppression. Given that the account in question here could theoretically have its local blocks removed onwiki (though that may be somewhat moot considering it’s globally locked), are there any objections to closing this as resolved/a duplicate of T263170?
