List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

• I click on the upload page on Commons and select "Back to the old form". Once there I choose"[ https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Upload&uselang=ownwork It is my own work]"
• I select the file from my computer, go through the process of adding the information template, other templated, cate and click the "upload file" button.

What happens?: For the first few minutes, everything seems normal. Then I get the standard Wikimedia error page with this message at the bottom:

''Request from - via cp1083.eqiad.wmnet, ATS/8.0.8
Error: 502, Next Hop Connection Failed at 2021-11-09 03:47:33 GMT''

What should have happened instead?: The image should have finished uploading and displayed normally on a newly-created file page

Software version (if not a Wikimedia wiki), browser information, screenshots, other information, etc: This has happened on both Firefox and Chrome, on the former both before and after recent upgrade to version 94.0.1.
