Looks like this happened in September/October 2010:

Probably a failure to save the log entry at the time; race condition bugs and such probably remain but can't be tracked down specifically related to this page deletion instance.

They were all deleted within a minute or so of each other, and so was the main page.

I'd guess it's a blip, but if someone could give a definitive answer, that'd be good!

Happened again today with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Undelete/CMiC

Still seems very intermittent.

Same error observed. Steps:

1. Went to Wikipedia deletion log
2. Searched for provided Article Name
3. Result: "No items matching in log"
