The contributions are moved to Special:DeletedContributions and are available for admins, at least.

That would be a fairly major change from the current expected behaviour. I do not think we should do this unless there is wide agreement its a good idea, or at least some usability studies suggesting its a good idea, etc. (There's also probably some difficulty in doing this efficiently given how deleted revision info is stored in a different table currently...)

There's also some political issues with deleted revisions traditionally being secret, some of the arguments at bug 24941 apply. (If you think this is orwellian, you should see oversight ;)

Anyways, I'm going to close this wontfix.
