Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- go to https://wikifunctions.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=Z10189&action=edit
- change line 2 of the implementation from return Z10187K1.upper() to return Z10187K1.title()
- click Publish
- click Publish again
What happens?:
I get a Not wellformed error, and it does not save the change
What should have happened instead?:
It should have saved
Software version (skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
- Happens for Python and Javascript
- Behavior is also reproducible when creating a new implementation and if one changes focus away from code edit box before clicking Publish (e.g. to add a label)
- On creating an implementation it does not happen when one clicks immediately Publish after changing code in the code box. But that does not help with editing, only when creating.
