Certificate replacement for “signed.adyen.com" domains on August 30th, 2023
Maintenance / Platform Changes
Adyen will replace the TLS certificate with the common name (CN) “signed.adyen.com” on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023. Adyen’s notification service presents this client certificate when sending out notification webhooks from our platform to merchants’ systems. (https://docs.adyen.com/development-resources/webhooks/). The new certificates for LIVE and TEST both use the same trust chain with root certificate DigiCert Global Root G2 (intermediate certificate: GeoTrust TLS RSA CA G1). The certificate for the TEST environment will be made available with the common name (CN) "signed-test.adyen.com" as of Friday, July 28th, 2023 so that merchants can validate their integration. Please note these certificate changes will not have any impact on merchants who do not perform certificate pinning. Merchants who perform certificate pinning (for example, due to internal policy) on Adyen’s certificates will need to make changes to prevent certificate validation errors. Please make sure to check internally with your technical team or system integrator.
