This task is mostly meant to declare our intentions and coordinate the deprecation of our use of LFS on Gerrit. I am unsure if there is any work to be done on the releng side beyond cleanup (and maybe a sigh of relief :)).

Since we are going to deprecate and shutdown ORES "classic" by ~September, our only use case for Git/Gerrit LFS (deployment to ORES) will go away, since Lift Wing uses S3 for that part of deployment.

We don't yet have a definitive last day of LFS usage, but as soon as all users are using either LW or the legacy infrastructure we have built, there will be no need for ORES deployments anymore and so the Gerrit-side LFS config can go away. We haven't yet decided what we will do with the Github LFS aspect, but that is no concern for releng.
