The repro steps are just one example. It seems the WikiWho algorithm got a lot wrong with this article.
Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Go to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nelson_Bocaranda&oldid=1169693085
- Enable Who Wrote That?
- Search and click on the words "knee pain"
- Open up the diff (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1169475914)
What happens?:
Diff does not include "knee pain"
What should have happened instead?:
"knee pain" should be properly attributed to User:SandyGeorgia with the edit https://en.wikipedia.org/?diff=1169429531
Other information (browser name/version, screenshots, etc.):
The incorrect attribution issue is with the WikiWho core algorithm, as I observe both WhoColor and the normal WikiWho API give the same incorrect data.
The other issue here is that about halfway through the "Responses" section, WWT has no attribution data whatsoever. Interestingly the WhoColor endpoint gives attribution data all the way down to the last bit of wikitext (categories), so that's likely an issue specific to Who Wrote That? and not WikiWho.
