Wikisource tool to make bulk moves on page addition
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

Rationale: In certain cases, there might be a need to add new pages to a book. In that case, every Page: namespace page that has already been created will need to be moved to make room for the new page. It would be great to have a tool to simplify this process

Example: If I upload a book (File:Example.djvu (say)) with 40 pages and then want to reupload a book with a new page at the 20 position, then I will need to move Page:Example.djvu/21 to Page:Example.djvu/22, Page:Example.djvu/22 to Page:Example.djvu/23 and so on.

@Soda: A good first task is a self-contained, non-controversial task with a clear approach. It should be well-described with pointers to help a completely new contributor. Given the current short task description and lack of code references I'm removing the good first task tag. Please add details what exactly has to happen where and how for a new contributor, and then add back the good first task project tag. Thanks a lot in advance!
