[Search Update Pipeline] Consider dropping support for java8

Description

To test the pipeline in yarn we had to keep java8 compatibility but now that we do not seem to have plans to test it on yarn we might reconsider this and drop java8 compatibility.

AC:

  • Discuss if keeping java8 compatibility is worthwhile
  • drop it if not
  • remove compatibility libs that are now useless
