Remove the old MDC components libraries and replace with the new material web components.

MDC components is is maintenance mode as of the announcement on 2024-06-10. This means that all upcoming components are paused, affecting the following components:

There is an alternative community-developed library https://github.com/zdhxiong/mdui that can be used for some of the components that we need.
