blocks bug 33216: we need to update to PhoneGap 1.3.0 for other things but the menu plugin seems to have a conflict or something. I can push the soft menu button but no menu comes up.
(Under PG 1.2.0 the menu works fine on Android 4, though other things are broken.)

Fixed in commit d0a33a06bda70d329efe7bdca520121fe5ba54ad -- needed an update to the SimpleMenu plugin for a new interface that was added in PG 1.3.0.
