An analyst recently presented some reports to fundraising that suggested a substantial number of new donors gave their first donation in response to an email campaign.
They were using new CID = new donor, which may be counting a lot of returning donors who entered a slightly different name and so got a new contact record.
Find the report, and get some counts of new email addresses with donations in Civi, broken out by method, for some time periods mentioned in the report.

@Ejegg if this refers to the Blackbaud reports, it would be the same logic that determines new vs repeat in both their report and and in the query I provided in that task you linked. Blackbaud works on a data set I pull, clean, and provide to them.
@JMando at our next analytics/FR-Tech call can we talk about how the Blackbaud data/reports will be applied to planning, and the implications of overstating new donors as described above?
