I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology and am currently in my second year,
I am skilled in various programming languages including C, C++, and JavaScript, along with web development technologies like HTML5, CSS, and the Node.js library.

About the project

I'm eager to contribute to Wikimedia Portals codebase modernization (GSoC-2024) project and gain real-world experience. I've built several projects myself, but I'm excited to explore the codebase and contribute to a larger, collaborative effort. Seeing the project categorized as easy to intermediate and having reviewed the codebase gives me confidence that I can make meaningful contributions. This is a great opportunity for me to learn and grow my skills.

I am writing to express my strong interest in contributing to the Wikimedia Portals codebase modernization (GSoC-2024) project. I am a beginner in the world of open-source contributions, and I am eager to learn and contribute my skills.

I recently came across the Wikimedia Portals codebase modernization project while exploring the Google Summer of Code (GSoC-2024) opportunities, and I was particularly drawn to this particular project. I believe my knowledge of Javascript, Node.js, and Backend development skills could be valuable to the project, currently I'm also learning React.js and Next.js and I am excited to learn more about how I can get involved.
