Discard Unnecessary CSS Code in "new_html" variable
Closed, InvalidPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Hi

I have 2 points in Abuse Filters - arwiki

  1. While going through the abuse filter logs on Arabic Wikipedia, I found an important variable called "new_html". However, I noticed that a significant portion of this variable consists of CSS code. In fact, the CSS code occupies almost 30% - 50% of the "new_html" variable's size. I think that if there is a way to discard the CSS code from the "new_html" variable it would be beneficial. See the below image.

  1. The other thing, In Arabic Wikipedia, the "new_html" variable does not have the WHOLE HTML code of a page. For example, when checking the logs, none of the "new_html" variable values have the HTML part of the categories. Is this a normal thing?

Aklapper renamed this task from Discard Unnesecary CSS Code in "new_html" variable (Abuse Filters) to Discard Unnecessary CSS Code in "new_html" variable.Apr 22 2024, 1:14 PM

Why is it unnecessary? It sounds somewhat of an arbitrary categorization to me, and someone else may need it for whatever reason, so I'm not convinced that it should be removed.

Aklapper changed the task status from Open to Stalled.May 9 2024, 12:47 PM
