The issue has been resolved on the Arabic Wikipedia, and other users there have confirmed this to me. I've also tried it myself, and it seems to no longer be an issue with save changes via the visual editor.

As soon as I reload it tends to resolve itself.

Unfortunately, reloading the page did not help resolve the issue.

According to what was stated above, I can help review the model in Arabic (arwiki)

I faced the same issue multiple times in Arabic Wikipedia today. Especially when trying to open this article, or trying to show a preview before saving changes in the source editor for any article.

Done. But please, next time, really do try to make those kind of requests in advance – it is way easier to handle them that way. Thanks!

Thanks @Reedy and @Superzerocool.

Thanks @Urbanecm

Reported here (SRUC), as request is "approved" but nothing happened. (FYI @Superpes15).

Same complain recieved to our offical twitter account (arwiki).

Several users reported same issue on Arabic Wikipedia. (Example).

When it'll be merged? as the event will be after several hours

Hello @Urbanecm, if you can help as on T246092.
Thanks in advance

Happened again between 12:25 and 12:28 UTC but things are back to normal now.

Could someone link (URL) and clearly describe (screenshot vs expected behavior?) such "a huge mistake"?

It's a huge mistakes in the text itself. You can found a table here, including a lot of examples. (The mistakes is indicated in red)

As I don't have the technical expertise needed to do so. So, @Nikerabbit and @Reedy, if you can help please?

Anyway, as a good next step, @Urbanecm_WMF @Tgr would you be able to remove or disable https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A:Mobile.js?uselang=en, referencing this task? Then we could see if the bug is still reproducible on arwiki.

Task approved.

As I'm arwiki bureaucrat, I'll close the request after 3 days with approval; if there's no additional comments.
(Same comment on Arabic)

To fix this I've submitted a change to the template data.

Sorry I didn't think to check the abuselog sooner!

Oh! I'm sorry too that I didn't check the Af log!

I will wait for confirmation from you that all looks good before resolving this task.

Just a note that this has been running for a few days now, there just apparently haven't been any copyvios yet. Once there are, https://copypatrol.toolforge.org/ar should magically start working.

Is there any expected time when https://copypatrol.toolforge.org/ar will work? as until now (after 7 days) still give 404 Page Not Found: "The page you are looking for could not be found. Check the address bar to ensure your URL is spelled correctly. If all else fails, you can visit our home page at the link below."

I can't reproduce it and thus I have no idea how to fix it :(

@alaa: Errm, looking at https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/source/mediawiki/browse/master/languages/messages/MessagesAr.php$470 , و is not part of $linkPrefixCharset for Arabic (or I misunderstand something here)? Could you clarify, please?

2. The authors are different?

Thanks @Reedy & @Jseddon.
If you want I can put a notice on arwiki village pump about this, and ping the user who made those edits (Adding per community request to use on the Mathematical equations).

2 - The letters are not at all as they should be on the user menu bar
3 - T he main page is badly arranged

1 - Numbers must be non-Hindi Appearance of the eastern arabic numerals on Arabic wikimedia Commons but Western Arabic

Per this (@Meno25 comment) this task not easily actionable now, as changing wgTranslateNumerals value to false on Commons or WikiSpecies will cause MediaWiki to stop translating all languages (Arabic, Hindi, etc.), which will inconvenience other communities. Even removing $digitTransformTable table from MessagesAr.php will lead to problems on Arabic Websites (outside Wikimedia) that use Eastern Arabic numerals.

@Dyolf77_WMF and @alanajjar, would it be accurate for me to assume one of you will file a new ticket to have the Arabic (and) Waw و removed from the list of $linkPrefixCharset?

Sorry, the local page now deleted via API
