As a WMF staff member who is a user of the data platform, I need to know where to get help if I have questions about publishing data, finding and using available data sources, developing a DAG, or clarifying a data modeling question.

The formal Intake Process doesn't cover the types of everyday tactical questions and advice-seeking that happen when users who are already using the platform have questions or want to get the input of other experts. The information on the old Data Engineering Contact Us page lists various email groups and internal Slack channels where that type of information exchange happens.

To enable users to get help in all the channels that are actually available to them, https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Data_Engineering/Contact should be updated and/or integrated with https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Data_Platform_Engineering/Intake_Process, so that there is one doc that covers the full range of communication methods and interaction types available to data platform users.
