Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

Edit [[Jeremias Benjamin Richter]] in AWB
Edit the same page in normal WP editor and preview

What happens?:

Alert "Invalid citation parameter(s)(1)" in AWB
No "Script warning" in editor.

What should have happened instead?:
No alert

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
AWB 6.3.0.1 from a recent revision
