Beta Release Testing Notes - iOS App Version 7.5.2
We’ve addressed a bug with the Picture of the Day widget, and thanks to volunteer developer support the search function within “Add an image” has been improved.

Picture of the Day Widget

1. Long press on your home screen
2. Open “+” from top left corner to add Widgets, and search for Wikipedia
3. Add the Picture of the Day widget to your home screen
4. Open the Picture of the Day widget
5. Verify you are taken to the Picture of the Day, fullscreen view within the app
6. If it instead opens to the Featured Article, or to your Explore feed, please let us know using the in-app reporting mechanism

Search from Commons view within “Add an image”

1. If you have more than 50+ edits, open “Add an image” from the Explore feed
2. Open the image file name link to view the image's Wikimedia Commons page
3. Click on the search icon in the top right corner
4. Verify that the search bar displays and you are able to search Wikipedia
