From looking at the Japanese payments wiki, it doesn't appear that Variant 1A was ever adopted to control as requested here. @spatton I see you still have interest in V2, but you were onboard with adoption of 1A in March 2023? (See our conversation here), and I think it's a good first step before the campaign and we can discuss further testing.

Yes! confirming we will change the text on the Banner/donate.wiki button to "Credit card" for brazil. Recurring will be enabled for that button.

On the frontend for banners, we'll plan to change Brazil's button text to say "Credit Card" instead of "Credit/Debit Card".
If someone checks out with a debit card & recurring through that flow, I'm assuming they'll hit an error on payments.

I did some testing, thinking I could just store all the downloaded files in the file server and use my computers indexing, but I'm not able to search the contents of files within the fileserver :(

hi @jgleeson! if a donor signs up for a monthly donation post-payment, do you know what their recurring parameter come through as to the Thank You page? And would the amount be their original one-time donation?

hi @AKanji-WMF, I just tested for NL and it is not an issue for the way in which the fundraising team sets up our campaigns (we do not ever select all countries).

Earlier on I noticed the links being the same for en+ other language, and @KStoller-WMF said product didn't require that breakdown by language within country.

@EMartin It's too close now to the pre-test for completing this work with enough time for QA and proofing.

The Opt-in parameter is still getting dropped when answered "no". (It works as expected if you answer "Yes')
I noticed it when checking Bundle banners, because I was never seeing the sentence that should appear on payments.wiki when people say No to opt-in ("We will email you a receipt to confirm your donation."). It's happening on all banners and donate.wiki.
