Steps to reproduce:

• Create a <gallery> with mode="packed-overlay" (or see the examples at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Gallery_tag#Syntax)
• Switch to dark mode in either Vector or Minerva

Result:
Captions are white on a white-ish background, and unreadable. The same happens using mode="packed-hover" and hovering over an image
