Upon completion of metrics MVP we will have a locally runnable application which can valuable collect data and generate key metrics from a list of known instances. we are doing this to help us better understand the needs of our community as well as to better measure the impact of our various efforts to improve wikibase.

as a member of the wikibase suite team, I would like to better understand the impact of my efforts. Additionally, we aim to set strategic initiatives grounded in data and measurable in terms of impact toward our goals.

• The data and metrics are accessible to non engineers
  • the application is stored online
