Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):
A public playlist is one that can be viewed by anyone, unlike a private reading list. We might want to transclude one or more on a page.
Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):
A public list could be kept updated by MediaWiki.
A common list could be maintained by different contributors.
Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
The point is to have a stable format for an embellished presentation of the articles to be read for a general audience.
Cons:
As much as a list maintained by MediaWiki seems to make sense, a public list maintained by different editors... could be redundant with a simple page? Unless you want to explore public lists in a catalog and complementary functionalities ; a substantial and perhaps over-ambitious project.
