As mentioned on the tool's talk page, there were a few occurrences of AfD nominees not having a reminder posted on the article starters' talk pages. There was no indication in logs or elsewhere why they were skipped, in part because it was reported too late to read logs which are truncated after two weeks (but there is not much logging so the logs would probably not have told us much).

What happened

• The pages were nominated, and no one was told
• No trace of why there were skipped

What should have happened

• The article starters should have been informed
• If they were not, logging should have told us why
