PNGs made from LaTeX don't have transparency
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: quark67

Description:
On fr.wikipedia.org, the "discussion" pages have yellow background. But, sometimes, there are PNG pictures from LaTeX formulae. But these PNG pictures
don't have tranparency. This produces black formulae displayed with white background, on a yellow background for the main text.
I use the Safari Mac browser, which can display PNG with transparency.
Here : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion_Wikipédia:Conventions_typographiques#Conventions_de_notation_en_math.C3.A9matique
you can see the bug.

an exemple for the PNG made from LaTeX, with white background.
