There should be a tool that allows users to easily migrate existing books over to use BookManagerv2. Doing so manually would be extremely laborious, except for the bigger books.

The problem is: until BookManager(v2) is ready/in use on Wikibooks projects, the books are just "sets of pages with a common prefix", as in
So, there is no JSON structure so far, and I believe this request is about automating the creation of the JSON for these books starting from the current situation.

Declining because BookManagerv2 is an archived extension now. Please see T178938: Archive the BookManagerv2 extension for details. All Gerrit patches were already abandoned long ago.
