What are exact steps to reproduce for "it does not find it"?

I still have no idea where to search etc.

It does work if you add a space behind it and then remove it again. This is an issue with pasting into the entity search box.

That behaviour is a bit odd. It is caused by wrong css style assignment which occurs on wikidata.org but not, for example, on my local instance. The following change sets should fix that along with adding some list offset:
