When I put in the template "Infobox road" onto a subpage of my user page, and added some parameters, the links they made were red.

Updating feedback page link. This bug looks like a regression to me.
Wittylama reported something similar today: <<See this edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=National_Library_of_Australia&diff=636455550&oldid=636107184 - where I replace a raw link with the "main" template. Before saving, the Visual editor shows the link as a redlink and adds an extra line of whitespace above and below the new template. However, when I actually save the edit the link goes blue and the whitespace disappears. So, the saved result is exactly what I wanted to happen, but the visual editor 'preview' made it look like there were going to be two mistakes.>>
This has re-appeared. You can read the editor's report at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback&oldid=651892335#Weird_bug_with_VE
I don't know, but I'm seeing red links in Citoid. It's in the initial
display, not when you go back to look at it later. I suspect that this is
a separate bug, though. (Steps to reproduce: Add a ref to books.google.com;
Insert; look at the red ISBN link.)
I can replicate the issue. I think it's separate - the reason those links get marked red is because their CE elements get a blank href element set somehow. Do you want to open a separate bug or shall I?
