I am looking at the dumps in /public/dumps/public/enwiki and the most current dump for enwiki is December 8th 2014.

This is still the case, despite newer dumps being available on dumps.wikimedia.org. @coren @ArielGlenn?

The copy script is running regularly (as evidenced by the fact that it's picking up the other dumps). I guess that at some point the en wiki dump of Jan was interrupted and restarted; I saw an 'aborted' status file lying around which caused the dump not to be picked up for the copy. I've fixed that and all should be well now. You'll see the copy pick it up tomorrow or the next day.
