"Download as PDF" feature appears to generate mangled output for equation intensive pages.

Description

The "Download as PDF" feature appears to generate mangled output for equation intensive pages. I have seen this problem on many Wikipedia math pages over the past year. A simple example of the issue is the PDF created for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_series. I have tried to fix the output using the "Create a book" feature without success.

This feature was very nice and has worked properly in the past. Anything that could be done to fix it would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

The feature used to have completely different software on the backend doing the PDF generation, which is definitely not coming back.

It doesn't seem particularly mangled to me. Do you just mean the way it can go off the page?

Yes. It can go off the page and the formula expressions do not always respect their column. I have tried using "Create a book" to make single column, but this does not appear to fix any of the off page issues. I suppose the worst case scenarios are when the formulas are very long. I chose the Taylor series example, but likely there is a better example. I will look for one.

I believe I have also noticed missing graphics.

Might happen when people put said images inside tables.
