Hello! Checking in on the status of this task as I'm hoping to create the query for Austria double optin email 2 with 1-2 days buffer from the send date.

The copy looks good to me! @MSuijkerbuijk_WMF this is not a big blocker, but I'm wondering if we should refer to their donation as "annual recurring donation" instead of "annual donation" like it currently says in the second paragraph?

@krobinson it looks like there is a version for annual donations here. When I open the Preview, and select from the Example dropdown "Recurring Failure - annual" there is an annual version coded in Civi. Confirming that the signature is "Wikimedia Foundation Fundraising Team" too.

@NNgu-WMF can countries update between sends during 6C? I remember we used to not be able to update language for 6C donors mid-campaign as the lists were already cut (see slack thread). Is that still the case, and does the same apply for country? ie. in this case - will the country change be reflected in email 4, or should we snooze them?

Referring to Caitlin's screenshot above: if they were snoozed on 10/7, with the snooze_end_date of 10/31, shouldn't they have been rejected by the decision node on 10/13 due to these criteria at the decision node?

@AKanji-WMF I don't know of a formalized process that we have to opt people in via surveys - do you want me to open a ticket for us with Legal about this? Major Gifts collects emails via surveys but I don't think they collect consent, so if the person isn't opted in in Acoustic, we won't be able to send them emails.

Huge thank you to @ppenloglou for updating all the RML programs with this criteria, and apologies to the DR team for my dropping the ball on adding the criteria to the programs earlier on!

From Megan: I think it should be fine to sometimes have older than 12 month DM appeals - as long as we are able to query on the actual DM appeal value - so for instance if we are building a query and can state a criteria that reads 'direct_mail_latest_appeal' = MPR25. I think at least for now we can use the logic that would sometimes have older appeals, and as we haven't relied on any field imports so far for the DM program we can see if this needs to be refined further if the field values are not able to provide the segmentation needs we are after.

This is pretty tricky - when one record for an email is Lybunt and the other record is New, the correct status for the merged record should really be 'Consecutive', right, even though that's not on either record?

Popping in to confirm that yes this behavior would mean that the merged donor should be Consecutive.

Also, the Email team has only been getting confirmation emails for changes to the MASTER SUPPRESSION LIST, when in the past we've gotten all 4 Contact Source Job update emails for all 4 recurring jobs. Now that we only have 3 recurring jobs in Acoustic, we're expecting to see 3 of these emails instead of just the one. Not sure if this issue is related, let me know if a different phab should be filed.

Hi there, jumping in on this ticket. We would like to make sure that the opening line of TY emails include the currency ISO code alongside the $ sign, to avoid confusion between currencies that use the same symbol. I believe this is related to item 2. in Tomasz' comment from May 27.
