After contacting Zendesk Support, an agent advised to use "Select Address" App on the Zendesk app store and use it to change the default from-address. The Zendesk "Select Address" app was installed and the from-address is now changed to our custom email.

@AMuller-WMF @creynolds Email Forwarding for wme_support@wikimedia.com working, SPF and DMARC correctly setup, but not sending email on behalf of wme_support despite SPF and verification records being verified by Zendesk.

Changing points to 8, since ses forwarding required significant IaC configuration and testing on local environment.

An investigation will be done by Alex to see if there are any issues on the IaC MR. Expecting that sometime this week.

After consultation with @HShaikh and @creynolds AWS SES with lambda functions will be used to forward emails to zendesk email address.

Had a sync-up meeting with Stephan today. He advised us to use the control centre for getting data, instead of directly consuming from the topics.

We had a feedback session with Stephan on on the 14th of November. Stephan mentioned that there might be a different way to get the credibility signals than our approach, that has less code. And that a handler might not be required. It was also stressed that instead of having a txt with list of articles as an input for mocks and having separate mocks for a new handler, the urls should just be added on the main mock file. So in the meantime a new draft merge request can be made and Stephan will take a look at it, a sync-up might be possible sometime next week to see next steps.
